Fire alarm system maintenance causes false alarm
November 1st, 2009 Posted in NewsBy Dana Ivins
LOGAN–-A police car and fire truck responded to a false alarm at the Latter-Day Saint Institute building at 2:45 p.m. Friday. Routine maintenance being done to the building’s fire alarm system triggered the alarm, said Cannon Perry of the Logan City Fire Department.

“It’s a common thing that happens all over town,” Parry said.
The fire department had been notified that maintenance and tests were going to be done between 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., but responded because the alarm occurred after that window of time.
