LOGAN–A man was arrested Saturday in his Logan home following a fight in which a woman received minor injuries to her face and forehead after being head-butted.

Scott MacPherson, 26, was arrested by Officer Brad Hansen of the Logan City Police Department and booked into the Cache County Jail on suspicion of simple assault, criminal mischief and intoxication. He was released after posting bail.

Saturday night MacPherson and the victim were out to dinner at a local restaurant where alcoholic beverages were consumed, LCPD Captain Jeff Curtis said. He said tension rose and “the two got into a verbal argument on the way to their place of residence,” in Logan Pointe Apartments.

The heated argument continued when the two arrived home and MacPherson began to throw picture frames, smashing many in his drunken state, Curtis said. After his fit of throwing picture frames he proceeded to head-butt the woman, which is when she called the police, Curtis said.

MacPherson was arrested after police arrived at the home and the victim was found with head trauma, mostly swelling and bruising, Curtis said. Police took pictures of her injuries as proof of the blows she took from MacPherson’s forehead.

My goodness. It still amazes me on how dumb people get when they get drunk.
