The Huntsman School of Business is teaming up with Cotopaxi for the first ever Utah State Questival, which will be hosted throughout Cache Valley region on Oct 23.
A committee of 10 students from USU has been assigned to team up with Cotopaxi in creating different challenges and obstacles for the participants. They plan on drawing students from all around Utah up to Cache County to get involved.
The quest officially starts at a launch party at USU where students can expect free Cotopaxi merchandise as well as games and activities to get the festivities going. From there, the teams will get their first clue and the quest begins.
The hunt will end at Utah State’s annual Halloween party, The Howl.
“The real reason you should do it is because the winner gets a trip to Belize,” said Emily Howe, a business student at USU. “This Questival is smaller than the other ones that Cotopaxi has put on and your chances of winning are pretty high.”
As well as receiving an all-expense-paid trip to Belize, the winning team will participate in the Questival World Championship, which is a race throughout Central America.
Cotopaxi is a clothing company base in Utah that specializes in outdoor apparel.
Each team has to pay a $26 entrance fee and can be as big as six people. Registration information is available at https://register.cotopaxi.com/event/USUHuntsmanSchoolofBusinessQuestival
