Logan man pleads guilty to underage drinking, running from police
October 29th, 2011 Posted in OpinionLOGAN–A Logan man pleaded guilty to two separate charges in 1st District Court Tuesday.
Trevor Lee Madson, 18, was charged with failing to stop at the command of a law enforcement officer, and unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. Both are class B misdemeanors.
On Sept. 22, according to court documents, Madson and some friends were shooting off fireworks. Madson took off running when he saw a police officer approaching, and failed to stop when told to do so. The police officer was able to locate Madson at which time he suspected consumption of alcohol, which was later confirmed by a urine test.
Judge Thomas Willmore scheduled Madson’s sentencing for Dec. 6 at 9 a.m.
