Millville city council bans ‘spice’

MILLVILLE–The City Council has adopted an ordinance which puts restrictions on the manufacture, distribution, possession or use of synthetic cannabinoids.
The vote to ban synthetic cannabinoids, more commonly referred to as spice, was unanimous in Thursday night’s meeting.
The council also voted to revise the Millville City Zoning Map.
A business license for Bridgerland Bookkeeping LLC was approved.
A bin for tree recycling will be available from Dec. 22 until Jan. 10, Treasurer Tara Hobbs said. Recycling bins will be emptied for the next three consecutive weeks.
The council meeting scheduled for Dec. 23 will be postponed until January.
