LOGAN — Three Utah State University students were arrested April 10 on suspicion of possession of marijuana, after the Cache-Rich County task force raided their dorm room at Bullen Hall.

The raid began at around 7 a.m. catching all residents at home, and resulted in the arrests of Grant Harrington, 19, Jacob Savidge, 20, and Devin Stein, 18, said Capt. Tyson Budge of the Logan City Police Department.

“USU police arrested some of these guys a few weeks ago and that put them on our radar, so then we obtained our own search warrant,” Budge said. “The warrant was for marijuana, but we also found one was in possession of forgery tools.”

Savidge was booked on suspicion of forgery and possession of a controlled substance. Harrington was booked on counts of possession of paraphernalia and intent to distribute. Stein was booked on counts of possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.

“Our task force is very active, they do a really good job,” Budge said.
