HYDE PARK – With the mayoral election separated by only one vote, the race outcome is contingent upon 12 provisional ballots awaiting county approval. Mayoral candidates Tom Price and Bryan Cox received 430 and 429 votes, respectively.
According to city recorder Marsha Hymas, those who submitted provisional votes have no more than five business days after the election in which to present identification to Cache County. Hymas added that she hopes to have the results as soon as possible.
